The data behind LotViews

Every figure on this page comes from one read-only snapshot of the LotViews database, measured 2026-10-01, built from public records.

Who controls the pavement

64% of commercial lots belong to an owner group with two or more.

10,066 lots sit with a group that controls ten or more and has a named decision-maker. Win one of those relationships and you are quoting a route, not a lot.

25+ lots, named decision-maker: 5,206 lots, 11%. An owner group controlling 25 or more lots in the two counties, with the person who approves the work named on record. One relationship covers a whole route of lots.

How these figures are made

Each figure is counted from the LotViews database in one read-only pass and refreshed at least every 60 days; the site's tests fail when the figures disagree with each other or go stale.

Commercial lots are improved commercial and industrial parcels on the county tax roll. Vacant land, condominium and apartment common areas, and institutional and government land are counted on the coverage page, not here.

The methodology explains every source, the coverage page counts everything we hold, and the area pages break the lots down by county and city.
